Wise wants to freshen up

Dennis Wise hopes that refreshing the Millwall midfield will prevent the club's season ending on a low.

The player-manager thinks he will have overcome a back problem in time to play in their final league game against Bradford at The Den next Sunday and Tim Cahill will be available after suspension.

Wise knows he needs to make changes as Millwall's season has been on the slide since they beat Sunderland in the FA Cup semi-final last month.

They have lost their last three games and failed to win any of their last seven, leaving morale low as they prepare to play Manchester United at the Millennium Stadium on 22 May.

Wise said: "I hope to be fit again for the Bradford game, when we will also have Tim back. It is imperative we get a win to go into the cup final against United with a bit of confidence."
