Will says FIFA probe should continue

David Will, the British lawyer heading an investigation into the finances of world football's governing body FIFA, vowed to continue his inquiry today despite president Sepp Blatter's calls for him to stop.

British FIFA vice-president Will was appointed by the executive committee amid concerns over the collapse of marketing partner ISL.

But the audit was stopped on 12 April by Blatter, who said confidential information had been leaked to the media.

Will said: "I can find nothing allowing the president to suspend the committee set up by the executive committee of FIFA."
