Watford reach Vialli settlement

14 April 2012

Watford have reached a settlement with former manager Gianluca Vialli.

The Italian was claiming close to £2million after his contract was terminated with two seasons to go but it is understood that he and the Vicarage Road club have reached an agreement.

Watford manager Ray Lewington could, meanwhile, be without Neil Ardley, who has a calf strain, for tomorrow's First Division clash against Gillingham.

Next three League games: Tomorrow, Gillingham (H); 13 Sep, Millwall (H); 17 Sep, Derby (A)

Results this season: L0-2, L0-1, L0-1

Last season against Gillingham: L0-3 (A), L0-1 (H)
