Rusedski eyes semi-final spot

Greg Rusedski was today playing Nicolas Escude of France for a place in the semi-finals of the Marseille Open.
The British No 2 had a comfortable 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 victory over Frenchman Fabrice Santoro yesterday, while Escude beat fellow Frenchman Marc Gicquel 6-1, 7-6.
Top-seed Juan Carlos Ferrero, of Spain, also advanced to the quarter-finals, beating Russian Andrei Stoliarov, and Sebastien Grosjean, of France, beat Spain's Tommy Robredo in straight sets.
