Gavin Henson could fit bill for Wales

Gavin Henson's seemingly slim chances of playing in the Six Nations were boosted yesterday when he was among 40 players called up by Wales to take part in fitness tests.

The Saracens centre has played only 80 minutes since returning to rugby after a 21-month exile and the fact he has even being considered by Wales, who begin the Championship at home to England on 4 February, has amazed Jonathan Davies.

The former Wales captain told Scrum V: "Henson doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the squad and I think everyone is fed up with it."

It has been decided that London Wasps' LV Cup match with Harlequins will be played on a temporary 5000 capacity ground at the Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The original venue for the 30 January game - the 43,000-seat Sports City Stadium - was thought too big.
