Robinson ruled out

14 April 2012

New Zealand lock Keith Robinson will miss Saturday's Tri-nations Test against Australia in Sydney with a calf injury.

All Blacks coach Graham Henry said: "It's a pity to lose him but we have to be realistic." Henry also admitted Robinson's chances of playing in the final match, against South Africa in Johannesburg on 14 August, were "remote". Ali Williams has been drafted into the squad.

South Africa coach Jake White was unhappy with his team's 30-26 defeat by the Wallabies on Saturday. "I'll never accept mediocrity," he said. "We just lost concentration at vital times."
