Raikkonen won't clash with Hamilton, say McLaren

McLaren are confident they are strong enough to have two "megastar" drivers, with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen tipped to join Lewis Hamilton next year.

They are set to announce a return for Raikkonen, who drove for McLaren from 2002 to 2006, as a replacement for Heikki Kovalainen.

McLaren struggled to find the right balance with two star names on their books in Hamilton and two-time world champion Fernando Alonso in 2007.

But Mercedes boss Norbert Haug said: "Managing two megastars, I don't think that honestly it's a problem."
