London Irish have announced that five of their young players have signed new two-year contracts.

Academy graduates Jonathan Joseph, Matt Garvey, Jamie Gibson, Max Lahiff and Kieran Low have all committed their futures to the Aviva Premiership side.

All five have broken into the first-team squad in the past two seasons, and head coach Toby Booth said: "We are very proud of our academy and our academy products. These boys epitomise what we are about."

He added: "We are delighted that we can continue their development which will drive their rugby progress and London Irish further.

"They have all played first XV rugby, and played well, and will certainly figure at that level going forward."
