Orr can't end five-year drought

Gary Orr was looking on the bright side today after a last-hole bogey cost the 37-year-old Scot £10,000 in prize money at the Madeira Open.

Orr needed a birdie to force a play-off with Holland's Robert-Jan Derksen but he hit a poor chip then missed from 10ft and had to settle for a share of second place.

But after five years without a win Orr was already looking forward this week's Spanish Open at San Roque. He said: "I can take nothing but positives from this week. It felt great to be in contention again."
