Nalbandian is latest casualty

The seeds continue to tumble in the Marseille Open tennis tournament, with David Nalbandian out in the second round against American Taylor Dent.

The second seed lost 7-6, 6-2 to follow top seed and Argentine compatriot Guillermo Coria among the casualties. Third seed Swede Joachim Johansson is the highestranked player in the quarter-finals, beating French qualifier Gilles Simon 7-6, 6-3.

Meanwhile, the top two seeds made it into the quarter-finals of the San Jose tournament in California. Andy Roddick beat Hyung-Taik Lee, of South Korea, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 and fellow American Andre Agassi beat Dane Kenneth Carlsen 7-5, 6-1.
