Mixed fortunes for Toseland

12 April 2012

World Superbike contender James Toseland suffered a bitter-sweet third round at Donington Park.

The 26-year-old went into Sunday's two races in Leicestershire at the top of the overall rankings, and the HANNspree Honda Ten Kate rider saw his advantage consolidated with a win in the first race as reigning champion Troy Bayliss crashed out.

Noriyuki Haga went on to claim victory but Toseland continues to lead the overall rankings on 115 points, five clear of second-placed Max Biaggi.
