Middlesex and Kent kept waiting again

13 April 2012

Middlesex and Kent were left kicking their heels as overnight rain and the soggy state of the Lord's outfield prevented play before lunch in their Benson & Hedges Cup match today.

Not one game in the South group has been completed.

In today's only other fixture, Vince Wells hit 76 and Ben Smith reached his 50 as Leicestershire made inroads against Yorkshire at Grace Road.

GRACE ROAD: Leics 207-6 (48 overs) v Yorkshire.

LORD'S: Middlesex v Kent. Start delayed.
