Mason to face judicial hearing

Australian second-rower Willie Mason has been charged with striking Great Britain's Stuart Fielden in the opening minutes of their Tri-Nations clash in Sydney.

Mason and Fielden came to blows in the third minute of the match, with Mason breaking the nose of the Wigan prop with a punch.

The charge was laid after the Great Britain team formally complained about the incident after the match. The Australian hard man faces a judicial hearing on Monday.
