MacDonald setback for All Blacks

13 April 2012

New Zealand full-back Leon MacDonald has been ruled out of the Tri-Nations rugby union clash with Australia in Auckland on Saturday due to concussion.

MacDonald also missed last weekend's 34-19 defeat by the Wallabies in Sydney after suffering head and knee injuries in the previous match against South Africa.

The All Blacks are due to name his replacement tomorrow, with Mils Muliaina likely to switch from wing to full-back and Anthony Tuitavake returning after being dropped.
