Kuyt flying high as move nears

Holland international Dirk Kuyt has revealed he believes a move to a Barclays Premiership club is close.

Liverpool is understood to be the Feyenoord player's preferred destination, although several other clubs have been linked with the striker.

Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder was in Dublin on Wednesday night to see the striker on the winning side as the Dutch won 4-0 against the Republic of Ireland. Smiling, Kuyt told Sky Sports News: "There are a few clubs interested - but only one is my dream club."

"I don't want to say anything about that - but I think we can say more in a few days," he added
