Kent are going nowhere fast

13 April 2012

Kent came unstuck on another difficult journey in the Frizzell county championship at The Oval today.

Traffic jams delayed their arrival at the ground by three hours yesterday and, after play began 90 minutes late, Surrey's Ally Brown smashed 188.

Kent went into the third day needing another 129 runs to avoid an innings defeat but they were going nowhere fast once overnight pair David Fulton and Ed Smith fell to Ed Giddins.
