John Fisher, seeded to the second round, eased through to the third in appaling conditions at Purley.

An early try from prop James Driver sparked them into action and by half time were 24-5.

Coach Richard Jennings said : 'Gordon's were not a bad side but we always had the game under control.'

The other John Fisher tries came from flanker Kyle Traynor, centre Mark Coulridge full back Daniel Leidecker and winger Brian Williams. Fly half Daniel Pratt kicked three conversions.

John Fisher travel to meet the winners of the Hove Park-Wallington tie on Wednesday Novenmber 1.
