Insulted Bolton turn down derisory Baggies bid for defender Meite

have dismissed West Brom's new £1.75million bid for defender Abdoulaye Meite.

Manager Gary Megson is angry at Albion's offer after they recently offered £2m to Charlton for Madjid Bougherra - a defender with no top flight experience. Wanderers want closer to £3m for Meite, with Megson keen to get him off the books.

No deal: Bolton have turned down a fresh bid from West Brom for Abdoulaye Meite.

Former Bolton midfielder Ivan Campo is in talks with Hull over a one year deal. Campo also has an offer from Real Sociedad.
