Immelman way out in front

South African Trevor Immelman shot an eight-under-par 64 to spreadeagle the field in the second round of French Open at Le Golf National near Paris today.

Immelman's 12-under total of 132 was four clear of his nearest challenger, Frenchman Jean-Francois Remesey.

Scotland's Andrew Coltart was shot further back but Colin Montgomerie fell away to four under par.
