Holloway's kids are the future for Rangers

Ian Holloway expects changes to the transfer system will force Football League clubs to become more reliant on homegrown players.

From next season, summer and January transfer windows will be extended beyond the Premiership, and the Queens Park Rangers manager has already started preparing.

Youngsters Stefan Bailey and Shabazz Baidoo made their debuts as Kevin Gallen's late goal earned a 1-1 home draw with Leeds.

Holloway said: "We've got to start bringing through players for the future as we're going to need a bigger squad next year what with this new transfer deadline coming in.

"I gave Stefan Bailey his first start and he was superb. The same goes for Shabazz Baidoo, who came on towards the end of the match."
