Graham: I won't walk away from Spurs

13 April 2012

George Graham has vowed not to walk away from Tottenham despite mounting criticism following a poor start to the new year.

Graham, still waiting to hear how much money he has to spend following ENIC's takeover of Sir Alan Sugar's holding in White Hart Lane, said: "The buck ultimately stops with me but I won't walk away.

"There are other clubs as big as Tottenham who can't win the championship, can't qualify for the Champions League and who are not in either cup.

"I try to take all the flak on the chin - that's what I am there for."

Tottenham's future spending plans are expected to become clearer when ENIC's deal to buy out Sugar's stake in the club finally goes through later this month.
