Millwall's excellent youth policy has been highlighted by Liverpool's move for Turkey Under-16 and Under-17 international goalkeeper Yousef Mersin.

He will go straight into their academy under former Barcelona coach Josep Segura after Liverpool's nationwide sweep for young talent.

Segura said: "The most important thing for Liverpool is that players aged 16, 17 and 18 go on to become professionals with the club."

Millwall are being linked with Norwich midfielder Owen Tudur Jones, who played under manager Kenny Jackett at Swansea.

The Lions boss says he will definitely add to his squad in January.
