Germany coach Joachim Low is confident his team are ready for the World Cup after last night's 3-1 win against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

A goal from captain Philipp Lahm and two penalties from Bastian Schweinsteiger helped Germany coast to victory.

And Low believes his team are ready for their first game against Australia on 13 June.

"We just need to do a little fine-tuning," he said. "We have a good team, we are in high spirits and can play a good tournament. There is a lot of potential and we have worked really well. We want to start well against Australia because we have a tough group but anything is possible."

Low also backed 2006 Golden Boot winner Miroslav Klose after a poor season at Bayern Munich.

He said: "Miro just needs match practice. We have 20 players and every one of them is important."

Low has given his squad two days' off to spend with their families before Sunday's flight to South Africa.
