Crystal Palace begin their FA Cup campaign with a trip to fellow Premier League side Wolves on Friday night. 

Roy Hodgson’s men suffered a disappointing exit from the competition at this stage last season, when they lost at home to Derby, but reached the quarter-finals the season before and were beaten finalists back in 2016. 

Wolves suffered a similar fate last year, beaten in a replay by Manchester United, but were semi-finalists in 2019 and with no Europa League football this season, Nuno Espirito’s men have this as their only realistic chance of silverware.
