Carl Jenkinson believes new West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has created an “exceptional” forward line with his summer signings.

Bilic has signed attacking players Dimi Payet, Martin Samuelsen and Pedro Obiang.

Full-back Jenkinson, who has rejoined the Hammers on loan from Arsenal, said: “We’re shaping up well. You look at the players who have been brought in and they are fantastic.

"There is a lot of reason to be optimistic for the season because attacking-wise we are looking exceptional.”
