Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira says he will use the final three games of the Premier League season to blood more of the club’s young talent.

The Eagles round off what has been a memorable first campaign under the Frenchman with a trip to Aston Villa this weekend, before travelling to Everton on Thursday and then hosting Manchester United on the final day.

A top-ten finish is firmly in sight for the south Londoners, but Vieira is already looking towards next season and those who could make the breakthrough.

Academy graduates Tayo Adaramola and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, who this week won the club’s Under-18 and Under-23 player of the season awards, respectively, are among the youngsters to have made their first-team debuts this term and Vieira hinted more could be to come over the next fortnight.

“I always think [in] the last few games we have to build for next season,” the former Arsenal man said.

“There are some young players who have been with us who will get involved.

“I will always have a mind to put a strong team out to win football matches and yes, I will give some opportunities to young players but they'll need to be surrounded by key players.”
