Spurs, who are six points away from a Champions League spot, will be buoyed by the strong performances produced by their players while on international duty.
Harry Kane was the stand out player, as he has been for the majority of this season. He scored after being on the pitch for only 79 seconds in the 4-0 win over Lithuania at Wembley. He went on to make his full international debut in the 1-1 draw against Italy in Turin.
Andros Townsend scored the equaliser in that match with a beautiful right-footed shot after coming on with 20 minutes to play.
Outside of the England camp, Jan Vertonghen performed exceptionally well for Belgium who won both of their matches without conceding a goal.
