Injury-hit Tottenham have had to bring in seven players who have yet to play for the first team for the Europa League last-16 second leg at Benfica.

Defenders Michael Dawson, Vlad Chiriches, Younes Kaboul and Kyle Walker have not travelled due to injury, while Jan Vertonghen is suspended for the Estadio da Luz encounter.

Erik Lamela, Etienne Capoue and Mousa Dembele are also sidelined, while Emmanuel Adebayor and Paulinho are others that have missed the trip to Portugal.

Hugo Lloris has also remained in London, meaning 42-year-old Brad Friedel is likely to start in goal.

Provisional squad: Friedel, Archer, McGee, Naughton, A McQueen, Fryers, Rose, Ball, Ogilvie, Sandro, Chadli, Veljkovic, Eriksen, Winks, Sigurdsson, Bentaleb, Onomah, Lennon, Townsend, Kane, Soldado.
