Former Liverpool strikers Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez will be amongst the star studded line-ups for a charity match at Anfield this month.

The game, held to mark Steven Gerrard's last season at the club before he departs for LA Galaxy this summer, will take place on March 29 and will feature former Reds including Pepe Reina, Dirk Kuyt, Xabi Alonso, Jamie Carragher in addition to the two forwards.

Chelsea stalwarts John Terry and Didier Drogba plus Arsenal legend Thierry Henry have also confirmed they will play in the match organised to raise funds for the club's official charity; The Liverpool FC Foundation.

Proceeds raised from the event will help fund community programmes, which benefit thousands of young people and adults throughout the city of Liverpool, and also support Alder Hey's new Hospital in the Park as well as providing support packages to Claire House, Positive Futures, Centre 56 and Cash for Kids.

Gerrard, 34, will captain one side for the exhibition game, whilst Carragher will skipper the other, while former Reds managers Gerard Houllier and Rafael Benitez have been tipped to be on managerial duty.
