Thibaut Courtois is more than aware that Chelsea's Premier League rivals Tottenham will be hoping to see the Blues suffer another loss this week, but the goalkeeper insists the leaders are fully focused on the task at hand.

With Spurs winning 2-0 at Burnley, Chelsea's lead at the top of the Premier League table has been cut to seven points.

Antonio Conte's side now host league rivals Manchester City - whose 2-2 draw away to Arsenal on Sunday means they trail Chelsea by 11 points - on Wednesday night.

But, ahead of the clash, Courtois insisted Chelsea aren't feeling the pressure even if he admitted the Blues must beat City to continue their momentum going into the final months of the campaign.

"It’s important to win on Wednesday" the Belgian told Chelsea's official website.

"Spurs will be hoping we lose again so they can close the gap to four points, but we will start working again.

"We know what we are doing, we don’t need to think about losing again, we just need to focus and try to win the game on Wednesday."
