Liverpool will look to get their Premier League season back on track with a trip to Sheffield United this evening.

The champions’ title defence is all but over as injuries and a loss of form have wrecked their campaign, with Jurgen Klopp’s side now 19 points behind leaders Manchester City with 13 games remaining.

Last weekend’s Merseyside derby defeat at Anfield left Liverpool sixth in the table, and Champions League qualification is now surely the key aim for the Reds as they sit five points off fourth-placed West Ham.

Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United have won just three games this season as they sit rock bottom, and with 14 points separating them from safety, the Blades look near-certainties for relegation - but an win here could turn things around.
