Fans of Spanish club Sevilla have vowed to find a fiancee for Marko Marin, in a bid to make Chelsea's on loan star stay at the club beyond this season.

Marin, 24, who has been hailed as the 'German Messi' due to his diminuitive stature and mazey runs, was loaned to Sevilla by the Blues this summer after failing to nail down to a place in the first team at Stamford Bridge.

But since arriving at the Ramon Sánchez Pizjuan Stadium, Marin has become a terrace favourite with a of thrilling displays leading to supporters to formulate the unusual ploy to keep him at the club, according to Bild.

Supporters were inspired by the fact that Sevilla captain Ivan Rakitic married a local girl and has settled down in the city despite offers to move to other European clubs.

Sevilla coach Unai Emery said: "Marin is an incredible talent and plays at a breakneck speed. He is a player who makes the difference."
