Arsenal once more surrendered a lead and an opportunity to gain ground on the league's top sides with a tame 1-1 draw against Norwich.

A bright start, somewhat dimmed by an early injury for Laurent Koscielny, had been capped by Mesut Ozil's fantastic chipped finish over the error-strewn John Ruddy.

But from there everything that could go wrong for Arsene Wenger seemed to go wrong, as the hosts equalised, Alexis Sanchez hobbled off with an ankle injury and they could not find a way back into the game.

The Gunners now have just two points from their last three Premier League games, though they do find themselves in touch with Manchester City and Leicester,
