Mark Hughes up for big Fulham test

Rallying cry: Fulham manager Mark Hughes
David Smith11 April 2012

Mark Hughes believes Fulham should not be daunted by their trip to Old Trafford tomorrow, despite failing to win there since 2003.

Fulham have lost just two of their last 11 Premier League games with that run including a 1-1 draw at big-spending Manchester City.

Manager Hughes said: "We've been to the Emirates, Anfield, Stamford Bridge, Spurs and Manchester City and acquitted ourselves very well. We know we can go to the biggest stadiums in the Premier League and give the teams that we go up against a real run for their money, so why think any different going to Old Trafford?"

Goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer also thinks Fulham can test Manchester United and said: "If we can continue to play as well as we have been then there's no reason why we can't back ourselves to get something out of the game."

Fulham's only injury doubt is midfielder Damien Duff, who has a sore Achilles.
