Leeds travel to the Etihad Stadium hoping to build on their positive weekend display with a potential upset against Manchester City.

A late penalty delivered a suckerpunch 3-2 defeat at Chelsea to leave Marcelo Bielsa’s men peering back over their shoulder towards the relegation scrap.

Injury problems continue to affect the team ahead of the journey to Manchester but Leeds did secure a draw and a win over the eventual champions last season.

City are once again top of the Premier League this time around, having seen off Wolves thanks to a Raheem Sterling penalty on Saturday.

Joao Cancelo is absent for Pep Guardiola’s side for Tuesday night’s 8pm kick-off, due to a ban, while Ferran Torres is ruled out through injury. Kalvin Phillips is set to miss out for Leeds with Patrick Bamford one of many doubts.
