Loan exit for Hammer Montano

Loan deal: Cristian Montano
11 April 2012

West Ham youngster Cristian Montano has joined League Two Swindon on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old striker, who scored four goals in 11 appearances during a recent loan spell at Notts County, will link up with Hammers legend Paolo di Canio, now the manager at the County Ground.

"I'm very happy with what I have achieved so far and obviously want to continue and get more first-team games under my belt," Montano told www.whufc.com.

Montano's West Ham colleague Frank Nouble has extended his loan spell at Gillingham into a second month.

Nouble arrived at Priestfield in mid-September and has scored twice in five starts for the League Two club, with his original month-long agreement due to expire following Saturday's trip to Torquay.

But after the forward expressed he was keen to extend his stay earlier this week a deal has been struck with the Hammers which runs until and including the trip to Aldershot on November 19.
