Joshua Kimmich makes transfer stance clear amid Arsenal and Liverpool links

The versatile defender is out of favour at Bayern Munich and is reportedly of interest to the Premier League giants

Joshua Kimmich is facing an uncertain future at Bayern Munich amid reports Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are all chasing the out-of-favour star.

According to Sky Germany, the Premier League title-chasing trio are all keen on capitalising on the 29-year-old's situation in Bavaria, along with Real Madrid, with Bayern prepared to cash in. The report adds that contact from unnamed clubs with the player has already been made.

It remains to be seen if any summer move for Kimmich materalises, and any fee could be cut given the midfielder is approaching his 30th birthday and will have just one year left on his contract at the end of this season.

Though when asked about his future earlier this month, Kimmich was clear.

"I still have over a year left on my contract, nobody has spoken to me yet. I’m relaxed," said Kimmich after Bayern's 8-1 win over Mainz in which he played the full 90 minutes at right-back.

"For me, it’s about showing my performance, that’s the most important thing. And then we'll see what happens."

Asked if he was comfortable at the club, Kimimch said: "Yes! In Munich too. It’s not all that bad here."
