Liverpool have been designated as the ‘away’ team for the Champions League final against Tottenham, but the Reds have been handed the Atletico Madrid dressing room for the European showpiece at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Despite being the ‘home’ team for the all-English final, Spurs will be in the dressing room usually reserved for visiting teams.
Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff will also be given the Atletico bench, occupied by Rojiblancos boss Diego Simeone for his team’s matches at the Wanda Metropolitano.
The distribution is down to the strict security measures for the big game, with the respective Fan Zones located in different parts of Madrid and routes planned for the two sets of supporters to travel to and enter the stadium, as well as specific seating arrangements for the fans inside the arena.
Liverpool’s support will access the stadium on the south side, while Tottenham’s fans will make their way into the ground from the north, and it is those respective entry points that have influenced the dressing room distribution for the showpiece fixture.

Security considerations will also see the Wanda Metropolitano's capacity cut from just under 68,000 to 63,000 for the game.
Each team has been given an allocation of 17,000 tickets for the match.
