Ian Wright: Arsenal will not win the Champions League until Arsene Wenger makes 'drastic changes'

Arsene Wenger must make "drastic changes" if Arsenal are to have any hope of winning the Champions League this season, according to Gunners legend Ian Wright.

Arsenal missed out on the chance to finish top of Group A on Wednesday as Paris Saint-Germain fought back to claim a 2-2 draw at the Emirates and leapfrog the Gunners in the process.

Wenger admitted he was "concerned" with his side's defending for Lucas Moura's 77th-minute equaliser, and believes Arsenal now have just a 10 per cent chance of finishing above PSG to set up a potentially favourable last-16 draw.

While the Gunners have already secured qualification to the Champions League knockout stages and are three points off Premier League leaders Chelsea, former Highbury forward Wright feels Wenger's men are a long way off challenging for Europe's premier club competition.

Asked whether Arsenal can win the competition this season, Wright told BT Sport: "No, not on the way they are playing just now.

"Something is going to have to change and change drastically in the team. Three or four players have got to really kick in.

"But you can't say that judging Arsenal's last three performances (draws against Tottenham, Manchester United and PSG) you can see a team that can win the Champions League - not for me, unfortunately."
