Heung-min Son is determined to help Tottenham secure a place in the Europa League knock-out stages.
Spurs have already been eliminated from the Champions League ahead of tomorrow's final group game against CSKA Moscow at Wembley.
Mauricio Pochettino's side require a point from their clash with the Russian champions to seal third place in Group E, which will guarantee qualification for the last 32 of the Europa League.
The competition, which replaced the Uefa Cup in 2009, is not looked upon favourably by some Premier League fans.
Teams often struggle to cope with the tournament's gruelling Thursday-Sunday schedule, but Son believes it is crucial Spurs continue to play in Europe.
"For me it's really important to stay in the Europa League, in two competitions," he told Tottenham's official website.
"It's very important to play at Wembley, how it's feeling and to thank the fans."
Son led the Spurs front line admirably on several occasions during Harry Kane's injury absence, but has dropped back into a more familiar midfield role since the 23-year-old returned to fitness.

Kane has scored six goals in five appearances since making his comeback and Son is delighted the England international has got straight back up to speed.
“I’m very happy for him because he had a long time out injured," he added.
"He’s come back, everyone has helped him and he’s scoring a lot for the team so I’m really happy about that."
