Hector Bellerin haircut: Arsenal star follows Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial & Eden Hazard with lockdown buzzcut

After and before: Bellerin has chopped his locks off

It’s undoubtedly a dilemma that will face many football fans in the coming weeks and months.

With barbers across the country shut because of the coronavirus pandemic, fades are likely to be as hard to come by as an Andrex four-pack. So, what to do with the barnet?

Let it grow out all Robbie Savage/Luis Garcia or else the (previously) unthinkable – take the lot.

It’s the latter approach that Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has gone for, as he surprised Twitter followers by posting a picture sans his previously glorious locks on Friday afternoon.

“Stay home, enjoy the sun,” was his accompanying advice.

The Spaniard is not alone either – Manchester United pair Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial have both given their hair the chop, as has former Chelsea man Eden Hazard.

Bellerin’s decision may well be welcomed by Arsenal fans, some of whom have suggested (ridiculously, obviously) that his decline in form and bad luck with injuries coincided with him leaving behind the simple short-back-and-sides look he wore when breaking into the Gunners first-team as a teenager.
