Harry Kane says Tottenham are looking forward to a hectic festive fixture list after a scintillating attacking display against Stoke.

Kane scored two goals as Spurs sauntered to a 5-1 Premier League win against Mark Hughes' Potters at Wembley, with Heung-min Son also in fine form for Mauricio Pochettino's men.

Spurs had not won a Premier League game since November 5 but were always the better side in this win as an unfortunate Ryan Shawcross own goal gave them the lead.

That was followed up by three goals in 12 second-half minutes as man of the match Son struck before a double from Kane, with Christian Eriksen adding a fifth before Shawcross pulled one back for the visitors.

Kane is now eager to keep Spurs' fine attacking form going as they enter a critical period of the season, telling BBC Sport: "That was what we needed.

"We had to get the first goal, we did that and that was it, we were on fire from there.

"It's strange, over the last couple of years we struggled against Stoke, but coming off a few bad results we were always going to be up for it.

"Son (Heung-min) was very good. He got the first goal and it was a great finish for the second, that set us on our way and got everyone firing. We look forward to the busy period now."

Tottenham now face Brighton on December 13, Man City (Dec. 16), Burnley (Dec. 23), Southampton (Dec. 26), Swansea (January 2), West Ham (Jan. 4) before an FA Cup clash against AFC Wimbledon on January 6.
