Leicester's unlikely title challenge came at a considerable cost to bookmakers, many of whom paid out at odds of 5,000/1 after the Foxes lifted the trophy this weekend.

But they weren't the only ones left to rue the outsiders' triumph.

Former Tottenham striker Mido did not end up out of pocket in the wake of Claudio Ranieri's side's victory, but he did lose his hair after losing a unique bet.

The 33-year-old claimed back in January that Leicester's pursuit of silverware would fall short during the home straight and vowed to have his head shaved if his prediction did not come to pass.

But Leicester saw off all of their challengers during the run-in to win their first top-flight title in the club's 132-year history and Mido was given the chop live on beIN SPORTS.

Mido, who played for Spurs and Middlesbrough during his career, took his forfeit in good grace and even posted a photograph of his new look to his Twitter followers afterwards.
