The Football Association today confirmed England will be based in Chantilly for their Euro 2016.
The £500-a-night Auberge du Jeu de Paume is situated 25 minutes from Charles de Gaulle airport and has a population of 11,000.
The quiet location suits manager Roy Hodgson's demands for a location out of a vibrant town centre after England encountered problems with noise while in Kraków during Euro 2012.
The team will train at nearby Chantilly FC but a significant overhaul of the existing facilities is required to bring it up to speed.
An FA spokesman told Standard Sport: "We can confirm that the England team will be staying at the Auberge du Jeu de Paume hotel for Euro 2016.
"We will be using the Chantilly FC training base and this fits Roy Hodgson's criteria. Our sports science team have been to visit many venues across France and this is the one they have selected. Travel is also an important factor.
"We will be making improvements to the Chantilly FC pitch. This is important and we have got a good track record in this area in terms of providing an excellent surface for the team.
"At this stage, any arrangements post-March when we play Germany and are in talks to play Holland, we will not be discussing further.
"Obviously we want to wait until the Euro draw in December to find out who our group opponents are."
England have also confirmed they will play a friendly against Spain in Alicante on Friday 13th November.
