Everton vs Arsenal team news: Hector Bellerin starts at Goodison Park

James Benge13 December 2016

Hector Bellerin makes his first start since mid-November as Arsenal hope to go top of the Premier League table with a win against Everton tonight.

The Spanish full-back makes his first start since suffering an ankle injury in last month's North London Derby, having returned to the side as a substitute in the first half of the Gunners' 3-1 win over Stoke on Saturday.

That was due to an injury to Shkodran Mustafi, who is expected to miss the remainder of 2016. Gabriel takes his place at centre-back in a side with just one change from the weekend win.

Arsenal XI: Cech, Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Xhaka, Walcott, Ozil, Oxlade-chamberlain, Sanchez

Substitutes: Ospina, Gibbs, Holding, Elneny, Iwobi, Lucas, Giroud

Everton XI: Stekelenburg, Coleman, Jagielka, Williams, Baines, Gana, McCarthy, Lennon, Barkley, Valencia, Lukaku

Substitutes: Joel, Deulofeu, Cleverley, Mori, Calvert-Lewin, Holgate
