England ticket demand continues as Lionesses sell out Wembley for Women’s Finalissima against Brazil

Sarina Wiegman’s side take on the Copa America champions in April

England women are continuing to enjoy a boom in popularity after winning last summer’s Euros and have sold out their clash against Brazil at Wembley in April.

The two sides are meeting at the home of English football in the first ever female edition of the Finalissima, which sees the Copa America winners face the European champions for the chance to claim another trophy.

Tickets for the game at Wembley have now sold out, with the FA confirming on Tuesday morning that only hospitality packages remained.

The Lionesses enjoyed playing in front of bumper crowds on their way to winning Euro 2022 last summer and the demand for tickets has maintained since the tournament finished.

England sold out their clash with the United States at Wembley last year, while Women’s Super League sides have noticed a surge in ticket sales too off the back of Sarina Wiegman’s side’s recent success.
