Watch all the goals from Alan Pardew's first match in charge of Crystal Palace, as the Eagles ran out 4-0 victors over Dover in the FA Cup.

Alan Pardew’s first match as Crystal Palace manager seemed to have all the ingredients required for a cup upset: a decomposing pitch, a struggling top flight side and hosts who came into the game in fine form in the Cup.

But in a match that could have been the most embarrassing of welcomes for new man Pardew his team showed the commitment, control and confidence that they will need in the relegation battles to come.

Goals from Scott Dann, Dwight Gayle and Kevin Doyle made it the perfect start for Pardew, and speaking after the match, the new Eagles boss was delighted with the display, and the warm welcome he's received since returning to the club.

“Their support was phenomenal and I thank them for that,” he said. “The fans showed one of the reasons why I came here. I am fortunate that they already have a special bond with me from my playing days. I am going to promise them two things: that we are going to put the ball at risk and that we are going to have a go.”
