David Moyes is set to make Darren Randolph the first signing of his second spell at West Ham after agreeing a £4million deal to sign the goalkeeper as his new No2.

Randolph will rejoin West Ham to provide experienced cover for Lukasz Fabianski. The Hammers have targeted a reliable back-up after losing faith in Roberto, following his nightmare run in the team at the end of last year.

Republic of Ireland international Randolph, 32, spent two years at West Ham between 2015 and 2017, making 42 appearances before leaving for Middlesbrough in a £5m move.

The Hammers are due to hold more talks this week over a move to sign Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes on loan, with a view to a permanent transfer.

Meanwhile, West Ham have been handed a reunion with former manager Slaven Bilic in the FA Cup after being drawn against West Brom. Hammers youngster Grady Diangana is on loan at the Hawthorns but cannot play against his parent club as part of the loan agreement.
