Christian Eriksen has insisted that he currently has no desire to leave Tottenham, but has conceded that an offer from Spanish giants Barcelona would be hard to turn down.

The Danish playmaker was one of Mauricio Pochettino's best performers last season, amassing eight goals and 15 assists in the Premier League.

He was crowned the supporters' Player of the Season for the second time in his Spurs career, and fans will be hoping that his form does not attract wealthy suitors.

Speaking to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, Eriksen made clear his desire to play at the top level - whether with his current club or elsewhere.

“In the future I see myself at the highest level. That's what I dream about," he said.

“It can be about two to three years. It may be in another club or it could be Tottenham if we have come all the way up.”

When asked about the possibility of one day moving to Catalonia, he said: “Barcelona are a great club. I don’t think there are many who say no to Barcelona."
