Chelsea will take a strong squad of players across the Atlantic as they prepare for an end-of-season friendly with New England Revolution on Thursday.

The match, titled 'Final Whistle on Hate', has been scheduled jointly by club owners Roman Abramovich and Robert Kraft in response to the recent rise of anti-Semitism.

The Blues in particular have taken a strong stance on fighting against racial discrimination this season, amid several incidents involving their own fans, and all proceeds will go towards raising funds for projects promoting equality.

Maurizio Sarri has named a strong squad to play the MLS outfit, including Blues star Eden Hazard, and the Chelsea players flew out to Boston on Monday after the conclusion of the Premier League campaign.

The Italian coach voiced his frustration with the timing of the friendly, which includes a 6,500-mile round trip, just 10 days before the Europa League final against Arsenal in Baku on May 29.

Sarri says he is concerned about the lack of rest for his players ahead of the Europa League final.

It could, however, give Sarri the chance to take a look at some of the club's rising stars.

Academy players Armando Broja, Jordan Aina, Dynel Simeu, Sam McClelland, Jake Askew and George Nunn have all joined the Blues contingent.
